About
Ace - Ace Karalis has prospered in the sports wagering
industry for well over 15 years. It started when he began
working with one of the East Coast's largest bookmakers who
offered Ace a position during a poker game. Up until that
time Ace followed every sport religiously, but he only bet
on sporting events occasionally. In fact he only bet when
given a "hot tip" from a handful of successful
sports betters he often played poker with. Ace was and still
remains a serious card player who at that time began to
develop a reputation for being able to run over a poker
table with ease. He studied the game like a science and made
an excellent living on it. He knew that information was the
most valuable commodity and soaked up all that he could
about the game and those he played against and as far as
wagering on sports only when information was passed on to
him.
While
working for the bookie, Ace developed a passion for it. He
studied how it was done and constantly reviewed people's
wagers to see patterns on why eventually almost every better
got in the hole. Eventually, over the years, ace amassed his
own players and developed quite a good book of his own. As
everyone knows, "The house always wins in the
end", so obviously he did very well and he credits his
success to doing the right thing. He booked the way he was
supposed to. He didn't like to take gambles and he certainly
refused to lose. To Ace, like poker, it was a science, not a
game, and he never swayed from his philosophy.
While
booking, Ace noticed that even though the house wins in the
end, there were a handful of clients that won consistently
and that they were very much ahead in terms of money won.
After analyzing their wagers over a lengthy period of time,
Ace saw that these were not gamblers, but disciplined
syndicates whose information was obviously much better then
the line makers. Knowing that he would not profit by booking
their bets, Ace did not cut them off. Ace decided that it
was much more beneficial financially to allow them to play
and instead of booking them, Ace turned there Picks into
other book makers and wagered his own money on top of it.
Ace was also able to adjust his point spread accordingly.
Ace
developed a great relationship with these guys and after a
while it became obvious: Why book to make money when he can
bet and make more? We all know the risk involved in booking,
so it became a "no-brainer". Ace sold his book to
some close friends and made an excellent living betting on
these Picks which were then called "Steam" or
"Wise-Guy-Moves" and playing high limit poker.
Instead
of just being happy with moving money on these games for
this group and himself, Ace wanted to know how they came up
with these Picks. As a few years passed, Ace had learned how
these Picks had come to exist. He knew what information was
needed and what numbers were important in handicapping
sports. Above all, Ace had the knowledge he gained from book
making so that he knew what to look for and most of all,
what not to do.
The
only problems Ace had was, getting paid and being dropped by
those booking his bets. He feared that there was not enough
legitimate book makers out there to wager with. Within a
short period of time he was forced to only bet for himself
because he could not guarantee the money he was moving for
the syndicates. The problem was not coming up with the right
side to be on, but having enough book makers to keep paying
out. Ace had gained a wealth of knowledge and there was only
one obvious thing for him to do: move to Las Vegas and bet
for himself with sports books who at that time had no idea
who Ace was and above all had so many players that he would
not attract much attention and could continue to pick
winners and get paid!!!
That
was over 8 years ago and since that time, Ace has only

Ace knows what other sharp syndicates are taking, he knows
most of the ticket writers on the strip and many of the

away and Ace emerged as a premier private handicapper. His

approached Ace to provide them with his picks and more
importantly, exactly what to do with them. Ace has spent the
past few years wagering in Las Vegas and off shore and
serving as a private handicapper for a few of the worlds
most prominent gamblers. Ace was not interested in becoming
famous for this and only appeared as a guest handicapper on
a few shows a a favor.

finally agreed in partnership to provide the Picks for an

up until that time were only available to a handful of big
time bettors.
